Do you provide Telehealth services?
Yes! Counseling and Professional Services can be provided by Telehealth and in the traditional office setting. Self Pay therapy sessions are strictly by Telehealth; however, at the client’s request, we can offer in office visits for Self Pay therapy sessions on a case by case basis. We use Kareo Telehealth.
How has COVID-19 impacted your practice?
We understand these are uncertain times as the country adjusts to the new normal of reducing the transmission of Covid19. We also want to keep are clients safe to the best of our ability. This is one of the reasons Telehealth sessions are available to any client who requests them. Before coming to the office, each client completes a electronic Covid19 screening and attest they are symptom free. We require clients who visit the office to wear a mask at all times. Temperatures are taking at the door. The seating has been configured to maintain a 6ft distance. There are hand sanitizer stations in the office. Client seating is sanitized after every visit with an antibacterial agent.
As much as we would love to see you in our office, we ask any person who is experiencing symptoms of Covid19 to reschedule their appointment or change their in office appointment to a Telehealth visit.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! At this time we accept BCBS of TN Commercial Insurance, Bluecare, United Healthcare (UBH & Optum), Cigna, Magellan EAP, ComPsych EAP and Medicare. We are actively undergoing the insurance credentialing process and will add additional insurance panels as we become an approved provider. Along with providing a sliding scale fee for those who qualify, we are here to help. We also have Self Pay Therapy Services provided by therapist, Ashley Thomas. Those services can be booked through this website. If you are using insurance as a payor source, you can contact us at 901-244-2233 to schedule an appointment.
How long does each therapy session take?
The first and second session can typically average about 1.5 hours which the first session consists of completing a comprehensive Bio-psychosocial assessment. The second session involves completing a collaborative treatment plan. The sessions thereafter are 1 hour sessions.
Do you provide counseling services to children and adolescents?
We provide counseling services to children and adolescents as part of the family unit. We are also expanding the practice to provide services to adolescents age 11-17. There is limited space for scheduling adolescents, but as we expand we hope to broaden this service.
What are your hours of availability?
Are schedule is truly flexible. There are two ways to check providers’ schedule. If you are seeking PrePay therapy services select the booking tab on this website to view the providers’ schedule. If you prefer to use your health insurance as a pay source, Client’s can call 901-244-2233 to check provider’s schedule and request an appointment.
How do you protect my privacy?
The HIPAA Privacy Rule gives individuals a fundamental new right to be informed of the privacy practices of their health plans and of most of their health care providers, as well as to be informed of their privacy rights with respect to their personal health information. Although there are limitations to HIPAA we must abide by, your confidentiality and trust is of the upmost importance to us. We will do all in our power to maintain your confidentiality and build a trusting relationship with you.
